Suddenly, and for no apparent reason, the comments boxes on this poor site have been filled to overflowing with dreadful ads urging my friends to take out "cheap auto loans," "buy via$ra," or worse.
I've taken defensive measures including disenabling the HTML function (which the spammers seem to like) and adding a number of IP addresses to the "banned" list. If you are a dear friend of mine whose address has been banned because you gave into the overwhelming urge one night to share your new source for "Cheap Preopecia!" with us, email me and I'll straighten it out. If you promise to behave from now on, that is!
