Memory Hole

Due to a server problem at work, emails sent to me between September 8th and September 10th were apparently deleted before I had the chance to read them. If you sent anything to me during that period, please resend.

Also, I accidentally deleted a couple of "real" comments while learning to use the new spam filters in Moveable Type, including a snarky one pronouncing this blog dead. Perhaps that means there is still a chance for a recovery. I've been travelling alot, working a lot, unpacking, entertaining relatives and trying to cross-register for courses. Things are finally settling down though, so perhaps rumors of the demise of Extra Ordinary Ideas are premature.

I hereby declare this blog dead.

Too late, dogg.

Maybe you and Marie could co-host a blog. She is clearly not ready to do this by herself.

Don't be such "J"s about this. The blog is not dead. It hibernates. Irregularly. Get used to it.

BORING.

There once was a blog by Marie,
Who's readers always checked in to see.
But it fell to neglect,
Now they say "What the heck?"
We wait for the next Ext-raOrdinary.

What a bunch of "J"s you guys are.

Perhaps I've been away from earth too long! What's a "J" anyway?

Posted by: JAHC on December 26, 2004 6:53 PM

In an unimaginably grand epiphany it just occurred to me that "J" could stand for "jerk." If so it does seem to me that using the term in its entirety is not stooping any lower than "J".

No, no! I was just making a (overly obscure, apparently) reference to the Meyers-Briggs personality test. A "J" needs closure, while a "P" prefers to withold judgement as to, say, the death or aliveness of a blog.

Thank you, Marie. That was informative.
