As you may've heard, USA Today fired Ann Coulter from her beat at the Democratic convention for achieving a new personal low in terms of taste, style and analysis. In the spirit of equal time, the Official Daily of Chain Motels had engaged Michael Moore for the upcoming GOP bash.
I was tempted to mourn this needless rift between two commentators and a publication that so obviously belong together. But upon further reflection, that'd be most unfair to the USA Today editors who displayed belated good judgment by canning Coulter. If they sack Moore too, I promise to stop making fun of the paper.
